Position: IT Security Engineer

Experience: 8 - 12 years

Location: Abu Dhabi

Notice Period: Immediate to a maximum of 30 days

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure components, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and encryption protocols.
2. Vulnerability Assessment and Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in systems and networks.
3. Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response procedures to effectively respond to security incidents, breaches, and cyber attacks.
4. Security Policy Development: Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
5. Security Awareness Training: Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees to educate them about security risks and best practices.
6. Security Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor security events and alerts, analyze security logs, and investigate security incidents to identify and respond to security threats in real-time.
7. Risk Management: Assess and prioritize security risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement controls to minimize security risks to the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 8 - 12 years of experience in IT security, with a strong background in security infrastructure management, vulnerability assessment, incident response, and risk management.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and encryption protocols.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
