Position Overview: Customs Clearance Officer
In this role, the Customs Clearance Officer will be
responsible for managing all aspects of customs clearance procedures for import
and export shipments. Working closely with shipping agents, freight forwarders,
and customs authorities, the Officer will oversee the timely clearance of
goods, prepare necessary documentation, and resolve any issues that may arise
during the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation
Preparation: The Officer will be tasked with preparing and submitting
all required documentation for customs clearance, including invoices,
packing lists, and shipping documents. Attention to detail and accuracy
are crucial to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
- Coordination:
Effective coordination with internal departments, external stakeholders,
and customs authorities is essential. The Officer will liaise with various
parties to streamline the customs clearance process and minimize delays.
- Regulatory
Compliance: Staying up-to-date on customs regulations and procedures
is paramount. The Officer must have a thorough understanding of local
regulations, codes, and safety standards related to facilities management.
- Issue

customs clearance process, the Officer will be responsible for resolving

Required Qualifications:
- A
bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field
is required.
- Minimum
of 5 years of experience in shipping or transport, with at least 2-3 years
in a logistics coordinator position.
- Strong
knowledge of customs clearance procedures and regulations.
- Excellent
communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability
to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
