Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the
following qualifications:
- Hold a
minimum of 16 years of education in Sociology, Applied Social Sciences,
Environment, Anthropology, Agricultural Sciences, or equivalent from a HEC
recognized University/Institute.
- Demonstrate
at least 3 years of post-qualification experience as a community/social
mobilizer in private or public sector organizations, or experience working
in donor-funded social sector projects.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Community Engagement Associate, your responsibilities
will include:
- Developing
scientific and technical materials and proposals for communities and
partners to maximize local capacity related to project objectives.
- Providing
technical support in the development and dissemination of tools,
materials, reports, papers, and interventions within the project.
- Working
closely with the assigned team to ensure activities are implemented
according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Writing
and editing technical reports and documents.
- Assisting
the Communication Specialist and Social Media Manager with publications,
web pages, and presentations.
- Conducting
searches of published literature on evolving issues in the assigned
technical area.
- Monitoring
and maintaining protocols, instruments, data sets, manuals, training
materials, and reports.
- Developing
or writing technical briefs, reports, or other necessary materials to
facilitate research, best practices, policies, and procedures.
