The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) is inviting
qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Director
(Water & Hydropower) in the Ministry of Water Resources. This is an
excellent opportunity for individuals with expertise in water resources
engineering and hydropower. Here are the details:
Position: Director (Water & Hydropower) - BS-19
Ministry:

Minimum Qualification / Experience:
- M.Phil./MS
or Second Class or Grade 'C' Master's or Bachelor's (4 years education)
degree in Water Resources Engineering / Water Resources Engineering &
Management / Hydrology / Hydraulics & Irrigation Engineering /
Hydropower Engineering / Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
from a University recognized by the HEC / PEC.
- Ten
(10) years (post-qualification) experience in case of M.Phil / MS. Or
Twelve (12) years (post-qualification) experience in case of Master's or
Bachelors (4 years education) degree in the relevant field of educational
qualification in BS-17 and / or above or equivalent in any Government /
Semi-Government / Autonomous / Public / Private Sector Organization.
Age Limit:
- 32-40
years plus five (5) years general relaxation in the upper age limit.

may edit online applications only once within the closing date to rectify
any omissions.

hardcopy of the online application is required.
- No
manual application will be accepted for General Recruitment cases. Only

The fee may be deposited in the nearest Government treasury,
branch of the National Bank of Pakistan, or a State treasury authorized to
transact business on behalf of the Government.
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:
Maximum age limit as prescribed under the Recruitment Rules
shall be relaxed in accordance with the initial Appointment to Civil Posts
(Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993.
Shortlisting Criteria for Interview:
Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews as per the
Commission's policy contained in para -16 (A. B & C) of General
Instructions.
Documents Required:
- After
the test/exam, candidates on higher merit positions will be asked to
furnish attested copies of requisite documents.
- Equivalence
certificate issued by HEC/relevant forum may be furnished to authenticate
claims.
- Experience
from Firms/Companies/Institutions/Organizations/Banks/NGOs will be
accepted if well-known and registered.
Admission Certificate:
Admission Certificates for Screening/Descriptive Test will
be placed on the FPSC website a couple of weeks before the actual date of
examination. Candidates are advised to frequently visit the website for
updates.
Conduct of Test:
- Original
CNIC, Treasury Receipt, and downloaded copy of the Admission Certificate
are mandatory at the time of Screening/Written Test.
- Without
the original Treasury Receipt, candidates will not be allowed entry into
the examination hall.
Change of Centre:
Candidates are allowed to request a change of Examination
Centre online at least one month before the commencement of the examination.
