The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) invites dynamic
and qualified individuals to apply for the position of Appraising/Valuation
Officer (BS-16) within the esteemed Revenue Division of the Federal Board of
Revenue. This presents a unique opportunity for talented professionals to

Qualification:
- Second
Class or Grade 'C' Bachelor's degree from a recognized University with
subjects like Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Accounting, Computer
Science, Law, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Physics as one of the subjects.
- Computer
literacy up to the level of MS Word, MS Power Point, and MS Excel.
Eligibility Criteria: Aspiring candidates must meet
the following criteria to be considered for this prestigious position:
- Age:
20-28 years (with an additional five years of general relaxation in the
upper age limit)
- Domicile/Quota:
AJK (Minorities/Non-Muslims quota)
- Place
of Posting: Anywhere in Pakistan
Selection Process: The selection process involves a
rigorous evaluation to ensure that only the most qualified individuals join the
Federal Board of Revenue:

Screening Test
- Top
merit position holders (ten candidates per vacancy from respective quotas)
will be called for a Descriptive Test.
Application Submission Instructions: To apply for
this exciting opportunity, candidates must follow the submission guidelines

- All
applications must be submitted online through www.fpsc.gov.pk.
- Online
applications can be edited once within the closing date.
- Information
claimed in the online application form will be treated as final.
- Subsequent
claims of experience not provided in the online form will not be accepted.
- Detailed

- No hardcopy
of the online application is required.
- Only
online applications will be processed and admitted on or before the
cut-off date.
Application Fee: To ensure the application process is
smooth and efficient, candidates are required to pay the following application
fees:
- BS-16
to 17: Rs. 300/-
- BS 18:
Rs. 750/-
- BS-19:
Rs. 1200/-
- BS-20
and above: Rs. 1500/-
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit: The maximum age limit
will be relaxed as per the Recruitment Rules, in accordance with the initial
Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993 (as
amended from time to time). Detailed information is available at para-6 of
General Instructions on the FPSC website.
Shortlisting Criteria for Interview: Candidates will
be shortlisted for the interview based on the Commission's policy, as outlined
in para-16 (A, B & C) of General Instructions.
Documents Required: After the test/exam, candidates
who are on higher merit positions in their respective quotas will be asked to
furnish attested copies of requisite documents, including:
- Two
photographs
- Matric,
Intermediate certificates
- Bachelor's,
Master's, M.Phil, Ph.D. Degrees
- CNIC
- Experience
Certificate (where required) showing the nature of the job/detailed job
description
- Domicile
Certificate
- Departmental
Permission Certificate (in case of government servant)
- Original
TR (in non-test cases)
These documents should be submitted within 15 days of the
notice from FPSC by post, SMS, and E-mail.
Equivalence of Required Degree: Candidates claiming
equivalence of the required degree must furnish an equivalence certificate
issued by HEC/relevant forum to authenticate their claim.
Experience Verification: Experience from
Firms/Companies/Institutions/Organizations/Banks/NGOs, etc., will be accepted
if these entities are well-known nationally or internationally, have been
appropriately registered/incorporated with the concerned government
department/institution for doing business, maintain office(s), and have proper
registration number/Reference number, where applicable.
Consequences of Incorrect/Incomplete Information:
Candidates who fail to furnish the requisite documents within the stipulated
time or provide incorrect/incomplete information will have their candidature
liable for rejection. Therefore, candidates are advised to keep their documents
ready for submission to FPSC by the due date.
Eligibility Assessment: From the requisition of
documents, it should not be presumed that the candidate has been shortlisted
for an interview, as eligibility will be determined based on documents and
merit position. Eligibility of the candidates in all respects shall be reckoned
up to the closing date.
Admission Certificate: The Admission Certificate for
the Screening/Descriptive Test for the respective posts will be placed on the
FPSC website a couple of weeks before the actual date of the examination.
Candidates are advised to frequently visit this website for updates, and they
will also be intimated through SMS. However, no information in this regard
shall be sent through the post.
Test/Examination Conduct:
- It is
mandatory for candidates to bring their original CNIC, Treasury Receipt,
and downloaded copy of the Admission Certificate at the time of the
Screening/Written Test.
- Without
the original Treasury Receipt, candidates will not be allowed entry into
the Examination Hall. Photocopies of T.R/Bank Scroll will not be accepted.
Candidates are advised to preserve the original T.R to avoid any
inconvenience during the entry into the Examination Halls.
- The
Test/Examination for Consolidated Advertisement No. 3/2024 will be held as
early as possible after the closing date.
Change of Centre: Candidates are allowed to avail the
facility for a change of Examination Centre only through an online request at
least one month before the commencement of the examination.
