Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computers or Electronics (4-year HEC recognized degree)
- Minimum five years of Information Technology & Information Security experience.
- Candidates with Certification in Information Technology in security will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
Security Infrastructure:
Support network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
Implement best practices for new and existing IT security solutions.
Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection with prevention systems, internet gateways, and other security infrastructures.
Training & Documentation:
Conduct training sessions to educate employees about security best practices.
Writing and maintaining Technical Documentation & the SOP's.
Incident Response & Compliance:
Able to develop and implement incident response plans to address computers security breaches.
Fully aware of ensuring that the security policies are up-to-date and in compliance with industry rules & regulations.
Evaluation & Improvement:
Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and recommend improvements.
Promptly monitor network traffic for the unusual activity on webs and respond to security incidents.
Evaluate and recommend new security solutions to enhance the organization's security posture.
Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with IT teams members, management professionals, and other stakeholders to integrate security measures into the organization's infrastructure and projects.
Prepare reports for management on the status of the organization's security posture.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address security findings.
Qualities & Skills:
Strong knowledge of IT security concepts and best practices.
Ability to conduct security training sessions.
Professional & experience in incident response and handling security breaches.
Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Certification in IT security is a plus.
