Key Responsibilities:
- Source,
manage, and purchase inventory for the institute, ensuring quality and
cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate
with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate
with various departments to understand their procurement needs and
specifications.
- Monitor
inventory levels and track procurement metrics to optimize efficiency and
cost savings.
- Maintain
accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's
degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related
field.
- Minimum
of 4-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
- Strong
negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings.
- Excellent
communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency
in procurement software and tools is desirable.
