Position: HSE Engineer
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant HSE experience in the fertilizer/petrochemicals/oil & gas industry
- Expertise in developing and implementing an HSE Management System
Job Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in process hazard assessment studies based on a risk-based philosophy.
- Possess and maintain up-to-date safety management expertise according to internal standards.
- Participate in investigation committees for major accidents and ensure proper documentation of findings.
- Develop an HSE training matrix, facilitating relevant training sessions to achieve the required level of skills and knowledge at Engro.
- Maintain site-wide performance statistics, including injury/illness count, man-hours worked, and key performance indicators in line with API 754.
- Analyze KPI trends and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Provide oversight and guidance for Emergency Response activity within Engro.
- Manage the standardization of PPE and ensure the delivery of quality items meeting Engro standards.
